ZAMBEZI/CAPRIVI

We work with a hand-picked selection of properties across the country.

At the gateway to the Zambezi region, on the banks of the Okavango River you find Divava Okavango Resort &Spa.

This tropical paradise is unlike any other Namibian destination, instead of the stark, arid beauty that Namibia is usually associated with, here the sound of the Popa Falls is your constant companion.

The lush gardens embrace you, and the spa offers the opportunity for body and soul to be revitalised.

The 20 well-spaced chalets offer the stylised charm of an Africa-styled thatched hut, but with all of the spacious indulgence of a luxury lodge.

The restaurant deck over-looks the Bwabwata National Park, so whether you want to go exploring or relax and drink in the tranquil surroundings, the options are yours for the choosing.

Ndhovu which means Elephant in the local language is located in the north-east of Namibia, on the banks of the Okavango River. Ndhovu Safari Lodge offers access into both the Mahangu and Buffalo National Parks, which form part of the greater KAZA Transfrontier and Bwabwatwa National Parks.

Ndhovu also offers access to the Okavango panhandle; allowing for easy access into Botswana and the World Heritage site at Tsodillo Hills.

Ndhovu Safari Lodge is the oldest lodge on the Okavango River in the Zambezi region, and was established just after Namibia gained its independence in 1990.

To complement the popular luxury tents, the exciting new luxury river suite, floating on the Okavango River has been built – with accommodation for up to 2 people.

On land, the regular game drives takes guests to view a multitude of wildlife in nearby Game Parks. For two to three months, almost every year, Ndhovu becomes an island when the Okavango River breaks its banks and flows into the neighbouring flood plains during the rainy season, when the Okavango Delta is unable to absorb the increased river flow.

In our little shop you can purchase ‘Penzo’ hand-painted crockery designed and produced in Zimbabwe.
