Situated on the Namibian banks of the Chobe River, 17kms away from Kasane town and with views into the Chobe National Park, ensures year-round encounters with free roaming wildlife. Famous for being a major Elephant corridor as well as an area where the lions hunt their prey, Serondela Lodge is ideally situated to make the most of these opportunities.
The 8 rooms have been built facing the river and enjoy spectacular views with endless photographic opportunities. As a member of the Wild Waters Group, guests are assured of the positive impact of sustainable tourism on this incredibly beautiful area, situated within a very dynamic conservancy.
The owners and management are very conscious of their impact on the environment and on their role in the Socia-Cultural sustainability, which means minimizing negative impacts and focusing more on positive impacts, such as promoting cultural exchange and promoting local tradition.
Serondela Lodge is in partnership with Kabulabula Conservancy and is part of the WWF and IRDNC Joint-venture program. The Lodge is part of the Wild Waters Lodges which is a sustainable tourism orientated umbrella company comprised of 3 award-winning Lodges & Camps (Serondela Lodge, Nkasa Lupala Tented Lodge & Jackalberry Tented Camp). By providing exceptional safari experiences we are able to partially fund the protection and preservation of pristine land and existing wildlife populations, not to mention help create economic independence within local communities surrounding the lodges and camps.
Travellers choose to stay at our lodges because of the exclusive and wild locations, limited guest and vehicle numbers, extraordinarily consistent game viewing and the exceptional care that is taken of each guest during their stay. Guests staying at Serondela Lodge, Nkasa Lupala Tented Camp or Jackalberry camp are being transformed for a lifetime and having made a contribution to the legacy of Africa.
