If you’re looking for an eco-friendly personalized safari experience then Jackalberry Tented Camp is the lodge for you.
Jackalberry Tented Camp is situated in an exclusive concession inside the Nkasa Rupara National Park (Mamili) in the Zambezi. The Camp is located on the banks of the Linyanti River systems, and the fact that there is no fence will allow wildlife to roam freely in the vicinity of the Camp. This will enhance the sense of remote wilderness and adventure for the guests who will also experience the unique Okavango Delta-esque environment.
The main area of the lodge is triple storey, allowing for unrestricted views sweeping across the floodplains of both Namibia and Botswana and is built in and around the enormous Jackalberry tree known as the Jackalberry Tower.
Despite its location, Jackalberry Tented Camp boasts many home comforts. The ground floor is a communal area, with a welcoming open fire around which guests can share their experiences during the evening. The upper floors house a reception, dining and bar area and a comfortable lounge which boasts exceptional views.
The accommodation comprises four ground level custom- built luxury tents, of which one serves as a Honeymoon Suite. All are furnished to a high standard and include in-room shower facilities.
Jackalberrry Tented Camp is part of the Wild Waters Lodges which is a sustainable tourism orientated umbrella company comprised of 3 award-winning Lodges & Camps (Serondela Lodge, Nkasa Lupala Tented Lodge & Jackalberry Tented Camp).
By providing exceptional safari experiences the lodges are able to help fund the protection and preservation of pristine land and existing wildlife populations, not to mention help create economic independence within local communities surrounding the lodges and camps.
Travellers choose to stay at these lodges because of the exclusive and wild locations, limited guest and vehicle numbers, extraordinarily consistent game viewing and the exceptional care that is taken of each guest during their stay.
