With nearly 20 years’ experience in Namibian tourism Margo Bishop founded The Portfolio in 2022. The Portfolio is a boutique marketing and representation company who focus on independently owned and managed properties, products and experiences in Namibia, offering professional representation services, both locally and abroad for both lodge owners and other tourism related businesses based in Namibia.

During 2022, The Portfolio entered into a working relationship agreement with Reservation Destination (ResDest) which was founded in 2003 by Suzanne Bonitz and Zenobia Kusch.

At that time, ResDest’s aim was to supply professional representation, reservations and administrative services, and moving forward our collaborative marketing and representation will be under The ResDest Portfolio banner.

Together, these two companies work with a hand-picked selection of Namibian tourism suppliers across the country, who have been mindful in their approach to tourism, the local wildlife and the communities that they operate in by offering quality encounters and off the beaten track locations, ensuring an extraordinary client experience every step of the way.

Our combined focus is to become the leading marketing and central reservations brand in the country; with an emphasis on offering excellent customer service and attention to detail, linking our clients with like-minded partners, locally and abroad.

We have no affiliation to any tour operating company, ensuring equality of service to all.

Our team is drawn from the travel business, and its experience is evident in its determination, dedication and stable relationships with the local tourism bodies.
